Michael D. BornakChief Financial Officer
Mr. Bornak joined MHF Logistical Solutions in February 2006 and has over 20 years of progressive experience in accounting, treasury and financial management. As Chief Financial Officer, he is responsible for all domestic and international financial aspects of the business, including preparation of consolidated financial statements, treasury management and bank relations, budgeting and strategic planning, forecasting, due diligence, risk management, human resources and information technology.
Prior to joining MHF-LS, Mr. Bornak worked for Portec Rail Products, Inc., a $100 million public company that was primarily a supplier of various railroad products that served Class I railroads, short line railroads and other contractors. Portec Rail Products, Inc. had operations in the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom.
Prior to joining Portec Rail, Mr. Bornak held the following positions: Corporate Controller for Precise Technology, Inc., Financial Manager at National Steel Corporation and Senior Accountant with Ernst & Young.
Mr. Bornak holds an executive master of business administration degree from the University of Pittsburgh’s Joseph M. Katz School of Business and an undergraduate degree from Clarion University of Pennsylvania. Mr. Bornak is also a Certified Public Accountant.
